The opportunity to establish a permanent location for CISMMS occurred in 2012 when Latrobe Hall, built in 1916, underwent renovation for cooling and heating on the third floor. The construction of this space was designed in the latter part of 2013 and into 2014. Design meetings took place in March 2014, leading to the completion of the entire third floor in August 2015.
CISMMS is currently located on the third floor of the North East wing of Latrobe Hall. The space is made up of one conference room and two study areas for graduate students, post-doctoral and visiting fellows.
